♫ Can you feeeeel the looove tonight? ♫ It’s been a while since I’ve warmed my vocal chords! But I do believe I’ve been hit by Cupid’s decor lovin’ arrow! Have you seen all of the fun-lovin’ Valentine’s decor on Pinterest lately? I was particularly struck by all of the LOVE-ly mantels! I have to admit I have never thought of myself as a Valentine’s decorator… but that arrow… it struck hard! I am inspired!!
So I’ve rounded up a dozen of my favorite mantels to share… love of color.. lots of love.. and lots of hearts! ♥
This one from Better Homes and Gardens tops my list. I love the bright colors!
And banners seemed to be a common trend… perhaps Cupid tosses those on the mantel as he makes his way from house to house. A simple heart banner brought this beautiful mantel together from Maisi Julian Photography… I love that the photo of her children display the most perfect kind of LOVE.
I ♥ the rustic feel of this mantel from Whimsical Treasures Decor! The bird cage and fluffy wreath did me in!
And Craftberry Bush has a vintage feel to her mantel as well! I love her story of this mantel… it took a few tries for her to get it just right! I happen to like every single version!! And those pink gerbers are just the right touch of color!
Speaking of color… how about something a little less traditional? YELLOW!! I love this take on Valentine’s Day from Home Stories A to Z! Remember our little lemon tree? It’s no wonder I was smitten over this one!! When life hands you lemons… make a LOVE-ly vignette!!
But if yellow just isn’t your thing.. and you want something a little more neutral, this mantel from The Crafted Sparrow is just perfect! Who can pass on the chevron? And those GIANT jacks are just too cute!! Adding those to my wish list as well!!
Also in the neutral family is this mantel from Remodelando La Casa. Mostly white, this LOVE-ly mantel has just the right pop of red! I love how the pom-poms on the bunting match the polka-dots of the ‘O’! And doesn’t that LOVE sign look strikingly similar to my Mini Wood Pallet Fence? Perhaps, I will turn mine into a sign of sorts!!
And the bunting on the little picture frame from Here Comes the Sun is tooo cah-ute!! It sets the mood for the entire mantel and it’s made from paint chip samples and old buttons!
The simplicity of this mantel from The Shabby Creek Cottage is enough to make me want to whip up one of my own!
And last but certainly not least… not everyone has a mantel! But don’t your worry… Cupid’s aiming his arrow at you too!! See how Lookie What I Did stuffed her hutch with LOVE… and LOVE-ly it is, indeed!!
So… are you inspired?
Do you usually decorate for Valentine’s Day?
Until next time,
