Weekend Junkin’ {& Monday Funday Link Party}

Howdy-ho, friends!! If I seem uber chipper this morning it’s because I got my junk fix over the weekend and I got to spend some time with one of my best bloggie friend, Lauren, from The Thinking Closet!! So… yes, I soaked in the sunshine state… and, of course, explored to find junk shops along the way! Some of them were over river and through the woods…

While others tooted their horns as we drove by…

In the end… once I found a new treasure trove, there was no turning back!! Did you see all my junkie finds on Facebook?? I know. So fun, right?! And that dressform…. pitter-patter says the heart of a vintage junk lover!! I had so much fun discovering new places… and I’ll have much more to share on my excursion soon!

But for now, if my weekend junk adventure doesn’t bear breaking out the party hats and horns… you know what today?!? Monday!! And that means it’s time for Monday Funday!
If you’re new here, Monday Funday is a big ol’ link party where we share crafts and recipes and you get to be seen on SIX blogs! Link up once and be seen on 6 blogs! True!
Our weekly hostesses are…

Hi! I’m Rachel from Lines Across, and I’m the one choosing the features this week. I’ve been super MIA from the blogosphere lately, due mostly to being 8 months pregnant. I have a scheduled c-section in less than 4 weeks (yikes!), and I’ve been using all of my available energy chasing down my 4 year old and 3 year old. We’ve been spending a lot of time together lately doing fun kid’s crafts and activities, and I’m planning on sharing a few of them with you over the next couple of weeks.
Now on to this week’s features. I especially love these DIY home projects!
Thank you to everyone who linked up with us last week! And if you were featured today or throughout the week on our social media accounts… Please, grab a featured button!

  1. Aw! Can’t believe I got a mention in your Monday Funday post! It really was a highlight of my week, heck, MONTH, to see you. So, I’m glad the admiration is mutual! Also, I am totally digging all the photos of your amazing finds. Can’t wait to hear which Florida junk shops I need to hit up. 😉

    • Of course you got a mention, Miss Lauren!! Our lunch was one of the highlights of our trip to the Sunshine State!!! I have so many yummy pictures of junk shops to show off!! You’ll wanna grab a pencil and notepad for that post!! 😉

  2. Such a great linky party. Where does one begin to be inspired? I’ve added my flea market find transformation to the mix. Thank you!
